FRIDAY MARCH 9
“The Whale,” as locals fondly call it, has been locally owned and operated since the doors opened in 1988. A lively, friendly blend of vistors and locals, it is kid friendly by day and a hot spot for fun at night.
Great Food & Hospitality
Generous portions, fresh local seafood, our signature fried pickles (try them!), and the best lobster rolls in town. Our delicious food is only part of the reason for our success. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, and when you walk into the Thirtsy Whale you will feel at right at home.
The Thirsty Whale features live, local entertainment Friday and Saturday evenings throughout the year. Rhythm and blues, jazz, rock and roll, and some old-time fiddle—the place gets hopping, so come on in, pull up a stool, and hang with the locals.
While we do not have a kids’ menu, we do offer kid friendly options. We have chicken fingers, fish nuggets, grilled cheese, burgers, plus tuna, ham and turkey sandwiches. All selections come with a choice of either french fries, cole slaw, salad, or yogurt. Crayons and coloring sheets are always on hand.
